Velammal Vidyalaya | Admission Procedure

Parents who seek admission for their ward(s) are provided with a data form. This form is to be filled in and submitted to the Cashier at the school fee counter along with a payment of Rs.300/- towards the cost of the application form.
For students of LKG, the parents are required to bring the filled – in application form along with original Birth Certificate and a photocopy on date mentioned at the ‘Important Dates’ page for further formalities to be completed in the school and handover the photocopy of the same to the staff of the Admission Committee.
Parents seeking admission for their wards to classes U.K.G to Grade IX are requested to bring the filled – in application form on the day informed and handover the same to the Admission Committee.
Parents seeking admission should submit 10 passport size photos of their wards (recently taken) at the time of submitting the application, for the Identity Card and other purposes (We request the parents to take at least 25 copies of their wards’ passport size photo as they will be needed for other activities)
On the confirmation of selection for admission, fee must be paid in cash / D.D. / Cheque / online (Swiping the card) within 15 days. If it is not remitted the admission stands cancelled automatically

Notes:

Parents can pay the fees for the whole year
All the fees can be paid in two installments ONLY
If the fee is not remitted on the scheduled dates `. 500 will be collected as penalty pay per day thereafter.
If the parents, who seek admission for their ward in Velammal Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, want to avail Transport facility or Hostel Facility can obtain the applications for the same from the office at the time of remitting the admission fee at the fee counter.

PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEE

School fee, term fee and other payments should be paid at the school fee counter.
Fee counter is open on all working days from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
Fee should be paid on or before 14th of September, December and March.

Failure to do so will lead to a fine of

Rs.10/- if the fee is paid from 15th to 20th

Rs.20/- if the fee is paid from 21st to 25th

Rs.50/- if the fee is paid from 26th to 30th/31st

Rs.100/- will be collected as re-admission fee, if the fee for the previous term is paid during the following month.

In case of loss of the challan book, a duplicate can be obtained from the school office on payment of `.20/-
Fee arrears if any, should be cleared before each Summative Assessment, failing which, the students will not be permitted to take up their Assessment.
Attendance will not be given to the fee defaulters until they pay the fee. Also, they will not be eligible for 100% Attendance Award.
School fee, Admission fee and any other fee once paid will not be refunded, adjusted or transferred to some other student's name for any reason whatsoever.
