In order to impart standard-based and outcome based education and to gain a hands-on experience, the school has introduced Digital Teaching through Multimedia. The class rooms are equipped with smart class boards which help them view interesting facts on any topic and thereby explore and gain more knowledge. The essence of education being not only to train the mind to think but also to bring out the latent talents in the child as well. The school focuses on the holistic development of students by providing diverse activities, sports and the ECAYLP.
The performance of a student is evaluated through Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) to reduce the workload on students and to improve their overall skill and ability by means of evaluation of other activities. As a part of this new system, student’s marks will be replaced by grades which will be evaluated through a series of curricular and extra-curricular evaluation along with academics.
Grades are awarded to students based on work experience skills, dexterity, innovation, steadiness, teamwork, public speaking, behavior, etc., to evaluate and present an overall measure of the students’ ability. This helps the students who are not good in academics to show their talent in other fields such as arts, humanities, sports, music, athletics, etc., for making the evaluation comprehensive. Both scholastic and co-scholastic aspects are given equal importance.
